2025 CHANGE Grants

The application window has closed for the 2025 CHANGE Grants program. Thank you for your interest!


Through the 2025 CHANGE Grants program, The Seacove Fund will fund three San Diego-based nonprofits or fiscally sponsored organizations with $5,000 each in unrestricted funds.   

Eligible organizations must serve in the city of San Diego, CA, been in operation for at least two years, and receive $500,000 or less in annual funding.  
The CHANGE Grants program will fund one organization in each of the categories below.

Health & Wellness
Grantee focus areas may include: 
Access to Health Care; Mental Health Resources; Fitness and Exercise; Recreation Opportunities; Seniors and Aging-in-place; Food Systems; 
Social Determinants of Health; and more.  

Education & Training
Grantee focus areas may include: 
School-based programming; Career Readiness; Lifelong Learning; Workforce Development; Job and Skills Training; Entrepreneurship; Professional Development; and more.  

Civic Infrastructure

Grantee focus areas may include: 
​Civic Engagement; Civic Education & Literacy; Civic Spaces; Community Trust-Building; and more. 
NOTE: The Seacove Fund has adopted the Rand definition of civic infrastructure as "the places, policies, programs, and practices that undergird strong communities and foster civic engagement."  Learn more here.
