Through the 2025 CHANGE Grants program, The Seacove Fund will fund three San Diego-based nonprofits or fiscally sponsored organizations with $5,000 each in unrestricted funds.
Eligible organizations must serve in the city of San Diego, CA, been in operation for at least two years, and receive $500,000 or less in annual funding. The CHANGE Grants program will fund one organization in each of the categories below.
Health & Wellness
Grantee focus areas may include:
Access to Health Care; Mental Health Resources; Fitness and Exercise; Recreation Opportunities; Seniors and Aging-in-place; Food Systems; Social Determinants of Health; and more.
Education & Training
Grantee focus areas may include:
School-based programming; Career Readiness; Lifelong Learning; Workforce Development; Job and Skills Training; Entrepreneurship; Professional Development; and more.
Civic Infrastructure

Timeline and Process:
- Applications are due by 5 p.m. PT on March 19, 2025.
- All applicants will be notified by April 18, 2025 of the status of their application.
- Grant funds will be disbursed to awardees no later than May 15, 2025 via The Seacove Fund's donor-advised fund at the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego (JCF). All grants are awarded by JCF and subject to its policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Please note that the funding categories have been modified from last year's pilot program to reflect the updated priorities of The Seacove Fund.
