About Us
Two generations of our family came together to establish The Seacove Fund in 2023. Our mission is to support local nonprofits working to create a more healthy, educated, and engaged San Diego. The Seacove Fund is housed as a donor-advised fund (DAF) at the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego.
We are fairly new to the San Diego philanthropic community and come with open minds, a sense of curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Our approach to grant making is guided by our family's belief in the importance of respect, trust, and integrity. We seek to build relationships with our grantees beyond the financial award and nurture a supportive partnership.
We piloted our CHANGE Grant program in 2024 and have refined it for 2025. This year, the program will support three organizations with $5,000 each in unrestricted funding. Learn more below and here. We look forward to learning more about your organization's work and the impact you are making in San Diego!

Transformative. Empowering. Trusted. Compassionate. Tenacious. These are the words our 2024 grantees used to describe themselves. If this sounds like your organization, please consider applying for one of our 2025 CHANGE Grants by March 19.
