About Us
Two generations of our family came together to establish The Seacove Fund in 2023 to support local nonprofits working to create a more healthy, equitable, and resilient San Diego. The Seacove Fund is housed as a donor-advised fund (DAF) at the Jewish Community Foundation San Diego.
We are new to the San Diego philanthropic community and come with open minds, a sense of curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Our approach to grant making is guided by our family's belief in the importance of respect, trust, and integrity. We seek to build relationships with our grantees beyond the financial award and nurture a supportive partnership.
The Seacove Fund's first grants will be awarded in mid-2024 through our CHANGE Grant program, a pilot program that will support six organizations, each with $3,000 in unrestricted funding. We look forward to learning more about your organization's work and the impact you are making in San Diego.
